This is something I worry about a lot… Living with AuDHD and chronic pain means I’m almost always dealing with some level of overwhelm or overstimulation…even just existing and doing my own thing can drain me to the point where I don’t always have the energy to show up the way I want to for others…because of that I tend to stay in my own lane a lot of the time…rather that than risk people misunderstanding my energy or intentions. Sometimes I go quiet sometimes I lurk instead of jumping into chats and it’s not because I don’t care… it’s usually because I’m trying to manage my capacity and not push myself past my limits. I do worry that it can come across the wrong way, like I’m distant or uninterested, and i think about that a lot… If you ever feel unsure please just reach out instead of assuming. I promise I’m trying my best even on the days it doesn’t look like it.
