@greateranglia what a disgrace you are. I'm with my Dad who has just had his hip replaced and left a football game early to catch a less busy train only for a late platform alteration (as in 2 minutes past its departure time) with zero chance of getting it. Absolute joke

@markadhouse @greateranglia There was a kid on the platform who got separated from his dad after the platform change for the 22:21. People piling into the concourse to rush to catch it. Absolute disgrace

@greateranglia This is an effective delay of nearly an hour (the next train is 22.53 and who knows what platform that is) so what refund will I get please?

@c2c_Rail Is it not possible to change the boards at stations with the fact that it's 8 carriages?

@markadhouse Hi Mark, this is due to a late notice alteration caused by a train fault. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused to you.

@c2c_Rail Why is the 07.23 from Thorpe Bay to Fenchurch St showing as a 12 carriage service when it's 8. It causing packed carriages and a lot of running at stations?

@c2c_Rail And worse, after waiting 17 minutes and just paying for the tickets, they just let everyone through anyway.

@c2c_Rail So, three security guards at Leigh-on-Sea, but no ticket sellers and no queue control. Embarrassing when the queue is out of the door.

@c2c_Rail Complaints take the standard 28 days and are always a soft reply. It's all about service and leaving three lower cost security guards to oversee a busy time when an extra pair of hands to deliver tickets would have been a solution.

@c2c_Rail Cancellation of a four carriage service on a day when the Greater Anglia line is not running and when there are two major football games on is straight unacceptable. Blaming overcrowding created by yourselves is inexcusable. I hope that you have more people ready for refunds

Due to overcrowding because of a football match, services are expected to be busier than normal. Please plan ahead of your journey.
