@TheKopHQ I know it’s not the usual profile but we need a goal scorer for 1 to 2 years even if Isak signs which is not looking likely now , Watkins would get goals but I guess they have alternatives to Isak ready to go and aren’t just sitting around hoping Newcastle will take a call

I've never really been confident that we'd get Isak this summer, purely due to them not wanting to sell, but also that they're in CL next season. But what seems clear now after today & those Howe comments is that Isak is fully aware of Liverpool interest & his heads been turned.
