@BladeoftheS So not sure what you are saying, do you mean we shouldn’t give universal credit to people who work part time, or increase taxes so Tescos automates more and employees less people? Or people working part time should receive the same income as someone working full time?

Tesco are making £4bn a year in profit. About 50% of their staff are on Universal Credit. Why don't we crackdown on this unneeded benefit for billionaires?

@JjinUk64 @patrickkmaguire @theipaper but it is hard enough to get high skilled people to this country, when they can go to another country and and pay no tax have better weather etc, if we offer them leave to remain and then take it away, no one will trust us which makes it even harder to get them to come

No Parliament may bind it's successor, this is a fundamental principle of our political system. They absolutely can change this, and have it apply retrospectively to relevant migrants.

@bordernick1 @AaronBastani How do you know they are small turnovers, a business doesn’t have to publish its accounts until it has an income over £1 million a year, unless someone is stood outside the shop and counts the number of people who go in, how would know HMRC if it is correct

@AaronBastani Why would anyone use a vape shop or a barbers shop to launder money? Small shops with small turnovers, waste of time. Especially when drug dealers are generally white British people or Albanians. Especially when illegal case gets put on flights to dubai for laundering.

Why are there so many vape shops in Britain? Particularly given they’ve been closely linked to illegal activity? The fact that Enfield - with a population of over 300,000 people - has 1 full time trading standards officer - might be a clue. Laws have become suggestions.

@TaxJusticeUK What have they been able to ‘opt out of’ and how and why won’t they do the same to ‘opt out of’ this tax? What will the tax rate be? what is a net asset?

We’re calling for a wealth tax that would only apply to people who have above £10 million in net assets. That means around 99.6% of people wouldn’t pay a penny more. So louder for those at the back. A wealth tax targets the super-rich who've been able to opt-out for too long.

@andyburnham Why does it deserve more, it has the support it has and is successful, I wish speedway or cycling had more but they deserve what they get because that is the fans they have.

Rugby league deserves more. As a former President of the RFL, I’ll be a staunch advocate for the game in whatever office I hold.
