@TheStateOfTheU 300th ranked 3pt defense in the country. Guards refuse to play defense on the perimeter and they’re short.

They call him "Big Cisco," but "big" doesn't even begin to cover it. Standing 6'6" and weighing in at 335 lbs, Francis Mauigoa is a physical anomaly. According to Mario Cristobal, he is the most muscularly dense player to ever measure in during his tenure at Miami. But in the NFL, size is just the entry fee. Can he play? The numbers say yes. Mauigoa has allowed only 2 sacks over the last 2 seasons, a stat that earned him the prestigious Jacobs Blocking Trophy. We’re talking about elite, rare-air territory for an offensive lineman. The mock draft folks got him going top five to the Giants. However, the million-dollar question remains: is he just a dominant college force, or is he a legit Top 5 NFL Draft pick? We got to go to the All-22 for our answer. @CanesFootball @FrancisMauigoa #NFLDraft #OffensiveLine #FilmStudy #MiamiFootball #FrancisMauigoa

Another missed opportunity here. Miami pressure throughout had OSU timing off even on dropbacks like this where there was opportunity for plays down the field.

Just finished watching Carnell Tate vs. Miami. Easily his worst game... Miami front DOMINATED Ohio State and threw timing off for QB all day. But from start to finish, Tate was not on the same page as his QB. Several strange reps like this one.

@AllKindsWeather Miami fan… it was a ball. But it was called against both teams (and not called) many times. Dude was ass behind the plate but it balanced out for both sides.

I know Miami fans are dumb but in what world is this pitch a strike? Travis Carlson made the correct call. Clearly inside. Nice frame attempt by Sosa, but it started off the plate and never came back to cross it.

@FootballScoop Maybe they should punish schools for not putting kids into the portal during said window when they submit all necessary paperwork to do so. Then, this situation pictured above, won’t be an issue.

@GatorThings @_Kevskii @PeteNakos @GatorDave_GB @On3 You’re failing to realize that there’s production. Both DTs return, Wilson is a plug and play and replaces production 1 for 1 with Mesidor. Nobody is Bain but there are options and one of them will be all conference caliber. Expecting a huge drop off is ignorant

@mattyjay06 @_Kevskii @PeteNakos @GatorDave_GB @On3 I've been pretty consistent with what I've said from the beginning lol losing the two best players probably in the country will hurt. Depth be damned those kids have to prove it on the field that there won't be any drop off. "Banking on talent" not production in 2026 -Miami

@GatorThings @PeteNakos @GatorDave_GB @On3 I will add that the 2 starting DTs are both individually in the top 5 conversation nationally at the position. Miami at DT in 2026 will be the equivalent of 2025 at DE with Bain and Mesidor.

@GatorThings @PeteNakos @GatorDave_GB @On3 Still return the top 2 DTs, plus 4 5 star players at DE. They will be better at rushing the passer but will miss Bain’s impact in the run game. The OL returns 2 starters, a plug and play freshman, and a center that was a starter in 2024 before getting hurt. 1 spot in question.

@GatorThings @PeteNakos @GatorDave_GB @On3 I think they’re talking about retention and not losing via the portal and not considering graduation/draft. Valid on the OL/DL. But Daniels missed several games and Marion was barely anything more than a kick returner pre-Miami. WR will upgrade and DL will have more depth.
