@SoonerTom Personally, I feel many rely too much on computer models. Harold Taft always seemed to get it right but he did it the old fashioned way. I suppose he was the model back then.

Why does the forecast for N TX for next week seem to be veiled in so much uncertainty? Even by your “Trusted Weather Sources”? Is this event REALLY that much more difficult than those of past years? Or are we just bigger wafflers nowadays? 😃 Some brief thoughts. 1/

Saw the new @Twistersmovie last night with colleagues from NWS Fort Worth and local emergency management. It was good, included good safety tips, references to the '96 movie, and was meteorologically more correct than the '96 version...mostly 🙃

Pete Sherwood Shores has reports of several houses leveled with people trapped. Gordonville has requested Whitesboro and ither departments to assist. Per scanner reports Grayson Co.

Mark this on the list of cool things I never would have expected: yesterday I was honored by @DentonCountyTX & @DentonCountyOEM with a proclamation of my own for working with them through several hazardous weather events and vaccination clinics. 1/

If you want to make a difference, be different. Stand for those things that are right not just in your own eyes but right in the eyes of the Lord. If you don’t know the word, start reading it. Willingly let him do so. Be blessed.
