Woke up to a $300 bonus from my first ever Upwork client and a one line review: “The best” I treat every client project like it’s my own. The effort always shows. This client was my first. I had zero experience, but I saw the job description and thought, I can do this. No interview, just a quick chat. I spent minutes looking things up to answer his questions. Less than 5 minutes later, he sent me a contract. I was cold, inexperienced, but I believed in myself. I researched, found tools to help, and figured out the job before Monday. When Monday came, I resumed confident. Less than 3 days into the week, I passed my trial and got my hours increased by 10. Since that day, I’ve never looked down on what I can do. I’m really looking forward to collaborating with him again. First clients don’t just give you experience, they teach you to believe in yourself.
