I've lost a lot of respect for the dev and art team of regretevator over the past few days but this is really the final nail. The unprofessionallisim to put a random person on blast like this is insane.

@merespes This is my final statement regarding Lampert's updated face. You can be upset and dislike the change, but declaring that we cannot make changes to our own characters is incredibly arrogant. They are, by definition, original characters, regardless of popularity.

@OddRaccoon imo changes should and need to be done if you want to keep developing a character but as i said when a character is a part of a bigger media there are certain requirements if u want to make it a win

They didn’t say they aren’t oc’s tho they say that’s not JUST what they are… I don’t agree that nothing should ever change but with this much feedback and big of a fuss it feels a little discouraging for no one to do anything about it and just roll the changes anyway

@niIawafer the problem is that game characters aren’t just ocs and u can’t change them without reason . is the new face a lore part ?.. no is the old design bad and hated by community ? also no! i can’t image how are people that bought that damn toy back then

When creating lampert's new face(s), we made sure to keep the old face in mind. Our goal was to modify the face enough to feel new and unique, while not differing too much from the old one.

@merespes @cherry2doodles Honestly I liked the way that the eyes with the eyelash look like a type of electrical socket. I get people who like the old one but I've seen genuinely grown ass people throwing tantrums for an eye change 😭 We're lucky the team takes constructive critism and try to be patient

@NotMakos like u guys have constant style in animations and idk just look there up for references or something like good faces for him and his emotions already exist no need to make new ones.. those in game look extremely undone n forced both stylistic and design wise

@NotMakos wasn’t the whole point of ‚little compensation ‚ to give character something new rather than changing already existing good character into something new and rushing it all up without proper planning? idk i’d rather prefer something that will explore his character not change it
