Thinking about the Will Wade situation. The national media is ripping him. The coaching community is ripping him. His narrative is collapsing because his timeline doesn't hold up, and because he's likely had his old house on hold for 3 years. His public image is taking a beating. And every parent of every kid being recruited to LSU is going to see this. What type of recruits are actually going to commit there after this? Sure, you can try to buy your way out of it, but you're still going to end up with guys willing to trade loyalty for cash. Build an entire roster of that type of player and yeah, you make the tournament, but you'll never sniff a trophy.
