Alumni Weekend 2023 is in the books. Beautiful weather welcomed alums back to see how much has changed and how much remains the same. Close to 200 alums made the trip back down School Road for the yearly celebration of Millbrook past, present, and future.

Ready, set, ACT! This week's annual Page to Stage event featured readings of two short plays accompanied by several scenes and excerpts, all written by students in Elaine Lifter's playwriting class.

Congratulations to our softball team for picking up the title of Class C Co-Champions of Western New England this weekend! The final game against the top-seeded Hamden Hall was close, but our 3-2 victory brought us to the top of the leaderboards for the season.

Everyone had on their Sunday best (and brightest) for prom this year. You couldn’t ask for a nicer afternoon for pictures on the quad. With dinner, music, flowers, and friends, it was definitely a night to remember!

At last week's Spring Carnival, there was friendly competition in games like tug-of-war and gladiator jousting, food from the grill and the cotton candy machine, and even a dunk tank to send fellow classmates into the water!

Currently on exhibit in the Warner Gallery: Holbrook Made featuring the many talented artists studying at Millbrook! This show features visual student artwork in a number of mediums, from ceramics to photography and more.

Congrats to Ben Dale '24 on breaking the single season points record for boys varsity lacrosse. With 107 points Ben surpassed the previous record of 100 that was set back in 2005. This record is sure to stand for a while, unless he breaks it again next year!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Ms. Quintanilla's Spanish class split into teams to cut, squeeze, and smash jalapenos, limes, and avocados in a friendly guacamole competition. Their concoctions were judged and enjoyed by a panel of classmates.

For Saturday's Golden Lips competition were visited by Kent School's Kentettes, Cheshire Academy's 1794's and guest judges Skidmore Dynamics, starring Millbrook alum Max Weigel '20! Although our Millbrook Singers didn't go down easy, the Kentettes took home the trophy this year.

Tomorrow night...8PM...Chelsea Morrison Theater... The trophy of the Golden Lips shall find its home for one more year, until the keepers of the trophy bring the trophy right back here.
