Tried matching a color from a website once. Spent 10 minutes trying to match it in CSS. Found ColorZilla in the Chrome store. Point. Click. Perfect hex. Done. That was two years ago. Still use it every single day.

people complain about AI replies all the time I choose to see it as practice every day I get better at detecting AI slop it takes one look I practice it more than my Korean at this point

Most devs never open the Coverage tab in DevTools But it’s great for spotting unused code. It shows which JS and CSS are used Open DevTools, press Esc, find Coverage Record, reload, and see what’s red. Red highlights = code slowing your site. Remove it to improve load time.

Interviewer: Your API returns data in 120ms. But frontend shows loading for 2 seconds. Why?

AI will take over your job sooner or later 🙌 Many people still don't accept this. For example, I built a project for a friend 2 years ago. Now, he started using the version he built himself with AI. (he has 0 technical knowledge btw) So if you're a software engineer + thinking you're safe You are NOT 🙃

@dev_maims We’re still far from the day when AI can handle everything on its own. Right now, to build a prod-ready app, you must know the fundamentals. And not just fundamentals, you must know system design, debugging, deployment, etc. No apps in existence are made with 100% vibe coding.

Do you think understanding the fundamentals still matters when AI can generate working code in seconds?
