That’s so funny to me how so many iranian artists and intellectuals have been openly criticizing the regime through their work, whereas you won’t find any iranian-made art in favor of the regime. Still, western leftists are convinced regime hate is a « traitor » thing.

I love these movies with all my heart, but they are not above such criticism At the same time, some takes are deeply frustrating because the decline of media literacy has lead so many people to believe that everything that everything a film presents is synonymous to its message
