I get how easy it is to see this and think it’s good but a technology that offers new and increasingly seductive ways of not thinking, not managing your own attention, not engaging with any reality you can’t control, not reckoning with human finitude, is extremely bad

I wish there was a safe, vetted way to pair up elderly women in need of in-home assistance with younger women in need of housing. Uni students doing housekeeping/groceries/providing company would do wonders for loneliness, housing, and financial strain.

@mollymp @KubeJ9 It makes a lot of sense, actually/unfortunately. It should be called the Well I Got Mine Doctrine. A state interest > federal interest situation. Not the only state that does it.
I also wonder how many racists mobilized to vote against Robinson and then Harris got knocked out.
