@DDonkey3 @RaptorsShaq the contract finishing a year earlier is more important than the total contract value remaining. We can try Ja for 1.5 years and then trade him as an expiring in the summer of 2027 if we have to.

@RaptorsShaq Including this season, Ja is owed $125M over 3 years, IQ is owed $130M over 4, so a FRP to save $5M? If you just look at next year on its $87M over 2 years vs $97.5M over 3. I don't think that's a FRP difference when one guy is a way better fit and has been better this year.
