MPISD will be closed Friday, January 10. We will reopen as normal on Monday, January 13.

Due to the winter weather, all MPISD campuses and offices will be closed Thursday, January 9. Further communication regarding Friday, January 10 will be sent tomorrow.

Our local north end McDonald’s will be hosting a community pep rally this Friday, September 27 from 7:00-7:45 a.m. So stop by McDonald’s on your way to work, get breakfast, and see our football players, cheerleaders, Tiger Doll officers, and Goin’ Gold Band drumline! Go Tigers!

Some MPHS students are collecting clothes for fellow classmates & are giving to CIS to distribute. Donations for all ages can be dropped off at the visitor side football parking lot next week, Mon July 22 - Thurs July 25, from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 🖤💛🐯 #tigershelpingtigers

All MPISD campuses will start at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17. Buses will run two hours later than usual.

MPISD will conduct and active shooter drill on Wednesday, May 31 at Mount Pleasant High School.

The Tiger Doll Officers for 2023-2024 are Captain Genevieve Rubio, Senior Lieutenant Makayla Spigner, & Junior Lieutenant Jalyssa Aguilar. Sergeants include Audrey Fisher (Head Sergeant), Violet Castaneda, Haley Garcia, Jamie Garrett, Valeria Vega, & Morgan Zepeda.

Three MPHS art students earned state medals! Stephanie Hernandez earned a state gold medal for her piece, “Eternal Youth.” Josue Vega earned a state gold medal for his piece “Cowboys.” Cassandra Saavedra earned her 1st state gold medal for her piece, “Never Gonna Give You Up.”

The 2023 Marching Band show is titled “Wednesday” from the hit Netflix series by the same name, a modern interpretation of The Addams Family, featuring the recognizable theme song and music by Bach, Metallica, the Rolling Stones, and The Cramps.
