Something that seems to have somehow slipped under the international radar is that under Israeli protection, the Druze-populated region of south-western Syria has become a de facto narcoterrorist state which is flooding its neighbours with illegal drugs. It's as if the US had allied with the Sinaloa Cartel to create a buffer zone along the Mexican border.

Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) reported a unique covert operation against the “Akhmat” unit in the Sumy region.
Ukrainian intelligence managed to recruit a former “Akhmat” serviceman. Through him, they installed listening devices directly in a command meeting room. After that, Ukrainian forces began striking the unit’s gathering points.
The outcome for “Akhmat” became one of the heaviest since the start of the war: 41 killed, 87 wounded, and more than 100 reported missing.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated at a press conference today:
"We will impose 100% tariffs on Chinese goods if they continue to buy Iranian energy products."
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated:
"We will continue to buy from Iran, whether you impose 100% or even 200% tariffs—I don't care."
That's right, let that worry the American middlemen who bring Chinese goods to the US. If they don't bring them in, American supermarkets will be empty. There's no alternative to Chinese consumer goods!

US troops are not in Germany to protect Germany. They’re there because the US needs bases to conduct operations beyond the North American continent. If Trump withdraws them, he will harm the United States, not Germany.
