Lets rewrite this shall we? ActionSA did indeed previously campaign on the platform of anyone but the ANC, that is undeniably true. Before 2024 we joined a pre-election pact with parties to provide an alternative. This turned out to be a collective bargaining platform to grovel for seats in the ANC's GNU. We stayed out, declined a ministerial post and took up seats in the opposition - no state funded BAEcations for us. Now only one party in South Africa is not in coalition with the ANC and that is MK (not for a lack of effort in KZN). So good luck choosing a party if this is the hill you choose to die on. We proudly collapsed a demonstrably failed coalition in Tshwane that bankrupted the capital city and failed to deliver services and replaced it with an ActionSA-led coalition which has stabilized the city and is delivering to all. PS: The efforts of a narrow group to contrive who may and may not work with the ANC is as immature as the notion that failing coalitions must be propped up because they are led by incompetent Mayors who look like you. The only language that matters is delivery. The GNU is not delivering and Tshwane is. So return to your handlers before you get taken to the woodshed again, because my conscience is clear.
