@TJiMTS just a couple of notes on this, 1) it assumes you can sacrifice the additional income now, considering the world is going to sh!t, it may not be an option 2) may grow tax free in pension but will be taxed the other end when taking it out, which maybe more!

At £125,140, it's gone entirely, and the effective marginal rate between £100k and £125,140 is 60%. Salary sacrifice into your pension reduces your adjusted net income. Sacrifice £10,000: ANI drops to £100,000. Full personal allowance restored. You save: £2,000 from restored allowance £4,000 income tax relief (40% × £10k) £200 NI saving (2% × £10k) Total: £6,200 Plus the £10,000 grows tax-free in your pension. If you're a parent, keeping ANI below £100,000 also protects your 30 hours free childcare entitlement. Worth a conversation with your payroll team before April 5.
