If oil manages to stay close to $90/barrel this entire week, it would be good for Philippine oil firms to coordinate with the DOE and adjust their retail prices down as a show of good faith to the public. The outlook for replacement cost may not be as rosy as the recent move in oil prices, but I think a break from the nonstop fuel price hikes will be good for the psychology of consumers.
