@PhilTheVillain 3 statements here, one is fact the other two opinion. The decabonising of our economy needs to be matched elsewhere. 1/3rd of our energy production is from renewables, 1/6th from nuclear but still 44% from gas and coal - the direction is good but needs to increase

@PhilTheVillan 1% of our energy bills won’t make any difference mate? But I agree we should expand our use of renewables so we reduce our reliance on gas which is the number one reason energy bills are so high 😉

@PhilTheVillan Here is the same fact for the past 12 months - we exported energy with about 41% coming from gas, ~30% from wind, nuclear about 1/6th of the energy plus solar, coal, biomass and hydro chipping most of the rest 🙂
