Here’s why the “OCD = neat freak” stereotype is harmful: Yes, OCD can attach to cleanliness or order, but it's not about liking things nice and tidy. It’s about NEEDING them a certain way to feel safe. It’s crying in the shower because you can’t stop scrubbing till your skin is raw. It’s rearranging the same shelf over and over until it feels “just right”—and being late to work because of it. OCD isn’t quirky. It’s debilitating and can take over your life.

@blueneumann A great series that did that was 'Borgen' (a great Danish political drama). They're reboot in 2023 (I think?) managed to straddle that line pretty well, I must say #scriptchat

@blueneumann Definitely. There are certain projects made for certain times. And if you do want to really bring them back, then you've gotta find a way to do that naturally and in a compelling way. Which most don't. #scriptchat
