Really excited to share this. A massive effort from @mulecc. We find that H-NS isn't just for gene silencing. All this time it's been busy capturing transposons, and inserting them into bound DNA. We think there are some big implications (1/4) biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Latest paper from the lab, this one's the culmination of @lucas_walker92's PhD. He describes how two TFs can bind the same DNA site to regulate in V. cholerae. A simple mechanism for integration of quorum sensing and cAMP signalling in V. cholerae biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

@Hannahmayyd suffered that we don't have to! ChemGAPP is a very easy to use software package that people without sophisticated programming skills can analyse their chemical genomics data. Check it out.
