I’ve just been given Netflix ( I know I’m late to getting it ) by VirginMedia. The first show I’ve started watching is Breaking Bad ( I know I’m late to watching that too ) My question is should I stick with it as I’m 3 shows in and not sure what all the fuss was about yet?

@sudox7 YAML tried. YAML is why we still use JSON.

25 years later and we're still using JSON for configs like nobody ever came up with anything better

@sudox7 Pretty much every other format is better than json - because they support comments. People think json is the only thing that exists because they think javascript is the only thing that exists.

it's honestly embarrassing that Chrome accidentally became the best PDF viewer while Adobe spent decades making Acrobat slower and more bloated

@A1an_M I say "ski" - short run left open & I don't think they were charging anyone (last day). I recall hurtling down the slope on a rubber inner tube. Don't think elf & safety would allow that anymore and I was a lot younger! Pint at the best pub in the world, the Clachaig Inn...

@munrobasher I did wonder, given your moniker! How many gave you done? I've been stuck at ablut 80 since I moved South. Yes I've seen plenty of snow in May too on the slopes at Glencoe and Aonach Mor. Never actually skied there though...

Forty years ago on Easter Monday 1986 I climbed my first "Munro" - a Scottish hill whose summit is 3,000 feet or more above sea level. It was Ben Lomond - the Munro closest to my home. I remember it was snowing on the summit. So snow in Scotland at Easter isn’t unprecedented, although it's unusual to happen in Glasgow as it did this year - and the climate change people seemed to think it might be a thing of the past by now...

Made me laugh.
