Why should a citizen donate money to Parliament? Chivayo wanted to donated $3.6 million to Zimbabwe Parliament.
Calling a US$3.6 million “donation” to MPs and Senators by businessman Wicknell Chivayo raises serious red flags. Private cash and gifts to elected officials risk buying influence, undermining accountability and eroding public trust in democratic institutions.
He is also known for donating cars daily to people with influence , what’s the end goal ? State Capture?

@CrimeWatchZW But why not buy direct yourself or simply go to beforward offices?

PLEASE SHARE🙏 | 💰REWARD US$200💰
Hi. I am looking for a man called Collins Nyangwindi from Harare. I gave him a total of US$7,000 from me to purchase a Honda Fit GK3 but never delivered the car.
Collins and I are friends from our time at the University of Zimbabwe. He later went into the business of importing and selling cars, so I trusted him to handle the purchase for me. I paid him in full.
We met on 20 June 2024 to finalise the payment. He said there were shipping delays and later told me he would collect the car on 29 June 2024. Since then, he has disappeared and is no longer reachable.
I reported the matter at Bulawayo Central Police Station, near where he collected the money. The case number is CR/327/08/24.
There is a reward of US$200 for any information that helps me locate him. If I recover my money, I am willing to offer more. My contact details are: 0776 307 464

South Africa has stood for the people of Gaza and Iran thousands of miles away but South Africa cannot stand up for black people from Africa. Shame on you @CyrilRamaphosa and the ANC for allowing this. Educate your people and stop this!
English

@PempheroMphande @CyrilRamaphosa And these people are doing this with their full faces exposed. It’s a shame.

@snowballOfficia So getting a government tender is wrong? You have unwittingly shown us your true self and what happens behind closed doors with these tenders. Thank you.
English

“I am not part of those who do things wrongly. I have never been awarded a public tender, i do not wish to have a public tender. There are so many opportunities you can get without being in tenders,” Youth Minister Tino Machakaire told a meeting in Bulawayo today.
Well said,
But it is important to note that it is not criminal to get public tenders.

“We don’t want Africans here anymore. We’re tired of seeing African migrants moving all over the world, refusing to fix their own countries. We’re making it clear: we don’t want you here. You know you’re visitors, yet you’ve decided to integrate into our communities. Can we come to Ghana and do what you’re doing?”

SAD NEWS 💔: A Harare man from Glen Lorne suburb allegedly shot his wife before turning the gun on himself on Friday in a suspected domestic violence incident linked to a phone call.
Givemore Tawanda Madzinga, reportedly shot his wife, Nelisa Madzinga (40), injuring her on the shoulder before shooting himself dead.
The incident occurred at their home along Castle Close in Glen Lorne, in the presence of their four children aged 14, 12, 9 and 8.
The couple’s misunderstanding is reported to have started on Thursday evening after Tawanda received a phone call from his suspected mistress.
On Friday morning, he reportedly woke up and began assaulting Nelisa and their four children.
Nelisa reportedly pleaded with him to go to ZRP Highlands for the matter to be resolved, but he refused.
She then decided to make a report.
As she was walking down the stairs towards the garage, she heard two gunshots and felt a sharp pain on her right shoulder blade.
She proceeded to the garage, where she found Tawanda lying on the ground, bleeding from the nose.
A neighbour rushed to the scene and took Nelisa to Avenues Clinic, where she was admitted to.
“We heard gun shots and when we got into their house, we found that Tawanda’s body had a gunshot wound on the right side of the neck.
“The wife said their misunderstanding started when Tawanda received a phone call from his girlfriend,” said the neighbour.
A 6.35mm FN Browning pistol, registered in Tawanda’s name under his company and licensed, was found beside his body.
The body was taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals Mortuary for post-mortem.

@TendayiManyange @harare_1 Because you are dumb! He thought he had killed her. This has happened before. Angry spouse shoots or poisons partner thinks they’re dead and they kill themselves to avoid murder charges
English

@harare_1 So he shot his wife on the shoulder and killed himself because of a phone call from his girlfriend? I am not a police officer but this is not believable

A member of an Independent Commission, such as the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission, can only be removed from office under section 237(2) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe. Section 237(3) expressly provides that the procedure for removing a judge also applies to members of an Independent Commission; accordingly, a tribunal must be appointed on the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission and the member must be found guilty of misconduct before removal.
Reassigning Jessie Majome to the Public Service Commission therefore constitutes removal from office and is unconstitutional.
Reliance on section 202(1)(b) is unavailing: that provision does not affect the security of tenure enjoyed by Majome is of no application to the situation at hand, and the attempt effectively seeks to demote her from Chairperson of an Independent Commission to an ordinary commissioner of the PSC.
We cannot sit idly by while such serious violations occur. The Department of Justice has failed in its duties, with potentially grave consequences.
