Dear media, a 14 year old boy is not a young man. He is a child. A child will was set upon by a mob and severely beaten, requiring hospitalisation and left with with concussion, broken teeth and a shoe print on his forehead.

10 years ago I met a disabled little boy in a respite children’s home in Leicester. Only it wasn’t a respite for him, it was his home and he’d lived there for 3 years. His foster mum who he’d lived from birth died suddenly when he was 3 and he never ate or drank again. 🧵
