@chainsawheart S. Rover moving fast enough to bypass Sandevistan is likely due to how whenever you use spectrograms to visualize like say an audio, it shows up compressed. Meaning the duration of that said audio is shorter so put it in WuWa’s logic, S. Rover in short duration will move faster.

With it being based on spectrograms, these devices help tell time as primary use of them so in game, it’s why you’ll see a lot of references to time with Spectro characters (w/ the exception of Lynae’s based around spectrograms usage in water).

I theorized the closest lore is maybe “Eye of Sol” legend and how it was something that Royans discovered to know the sun’s direction after the blizzards took over the land.
