Less assume this fat p!g called Bwala is making sense… The cost of advanced unmanned aircraft ranges from $1 million to $25 million. That is less than N35 billion. A specialized, top-tier aircraft like the RQ-4 Global Hawk doesn't exceed $200 million (N280 billion). Tinubu reportedly casually gifted APC N500 billion. This amount is enough to purchase over 14 pieces of “advanced unmanned military aircraft (drone). We can say then that Tinubu wastes money on pointless political ventures that ONLY benefit his selfish ambition and fuel his insatiable greed!✍️
Oyindamola🙄@dammiedammie35

“How difficult is it to have 300 to 500 people coming in with Bikes into a community and they’ll be invisible to Nigerian government but the Americans are seeing them upon all the billions we’re spending on security” Daniel Bwala: Americans are seeing them because they have drones and we don’t have the capacity to Aquire the technology 💔💔

President Tinubu Approves ₦3.3 Trillion Payment Plan to Clear Power Sector Legacy Debts and Restore Reliable Electricity President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to a ₦3.3 trillion payment plan designed to finally settle long-standing debts in Nigeria’s power sector, a move officials say will bring much-needed stability to electricity supply across the country. The approval follows a comprehensive verification of legacy debts that have plagued the sector for over a decade. The debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. After detailed review, ₦3.3 trillion was agreed upon as the full and final settlement amount. Implementation of the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme has already begun. Fifteen power plants have signed settlement agreements worth ₦2.3 trillion. The Federal Government has raised ₦501 billion to fund the initiative, with ₦223 billion already disbursed and additional payments in progress. Officials say the cash injection into the power value chain will lead to more stable electricity generation and improved reliability for millions of Nigerians. With power plants now better supported, the government expects increased investment, job creation, and enhanced service delivery in the sector. Special Adviser on Energy to President Tinubu, Olu Arowolo-Verheijen, described the programme as a turning point. “This programme is not just about settling legacy debts. It is about restoring confidence across the power sector ensuring gas suppliers are paid, power plants can keep running, and the system begins to work more reliably,” she said. She added that the debt resolution is part of wider ongoing reforms, including improved metering and the introduction of service-based tariffs that tie electricity bills to the quality of power received. “The government is also prioritising power supply to businesses, industries, and small enterprises because reliable electricity is critical to creating jobs, supporting livelihoods, and growing the economy,” Arowolo-Verheijen explained. “The goal is simple: more reliable power for homes, stronger support for businesses, and a system that works better for all Nigerians.” President Tinubu has commended all stakeholders involved in resolving the legacy issues and has directed that the next phase of the programme (Series II) commence this quarter. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Sunday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

@trigottista @Onyee_EGO For most of you that were not old enough during the Abacha era, as a Military Head of State he wanted to transform himself into a civilian President. He got endorsements from people he paid and was not ready for any elections just like PBAT who does'nt want any opposition.

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
