Ashley Ogle should actually be a case study for former #BBMzansi housemates.
I didn't watch Season 5 but from what I gather she was polarising.
But, the woman did a complete turnaround as soon as she left the house. She understood that BBM is just a TV show and there is life afterwards. The Ashley on the show and the Ashley that has grown from the experience and is now a public personality are different.
I have seen her numerous times at events and such, and she is a total star. She carries herself with grace and poise.
She manages her brand and image effectively. No clickbaits, no noise, no mess, cyberfights, etc. No weird posts or interviews shading anyone.
When she is in the news or trending for something negative, it is through associates. Even then she says what she feels ought to be said and moves on.
Another thing I have observed and love about her is that she doesn't walk into a room with frills and airs about her — even when she is the most known or interesting person in the room. She does not have that "I have arrived" attitude some people who amass instant fame often adopt.
I am not surprised that even with a full BBM season in between her being off TV, she is still in-demand and supported by her fans and brands. You'd think she was on also on Season 6.
