I’ll never stop advocating for photo credit! Photographers work tirelessly to capture amazing images, and it’s frustrating when they’re shared without credit. If @taylorswift13 can credit photographers, so can her fans. And seriously, stop removing watermarks—respect the work!

5 Missouri counties that went for Trump last week also favored Amendment 3, which aims to restore abortion rights in the state. And 4 of those counties are in the Kansas City area. 🤔

Check out this graph of general election turnouts over the past 5 presidential election years.
The lowest are always in Kansas City proper and Wyandotte County, the home of Kansas City, Kansas. But Tuesday's turnout was even lower than normal.

Here's my latest on turnout in the Kansas City metro area. The big takeaway: significant early voting turnouts didn't translate to overall high turnout-- especially in urban areas.
All 6 election jurisdictions saw lower turnout than in 2020.

Nearly 30% (!) of registered voters in the 5 counties that make up the Kansas City metro area have already voted: over 400,000 people.
And that doesn't even count all absentee envelopes or today's in-person early votes on the Kansas side.

Over 63,000 people have already cast their votes in the 3 Missouri counties covering the Kansas City metro area.
But percentage-wise, Clay and Platte County voters are way ahead of those in Jackson County, both in and outside of city limits.
