the movie made it really clear she didn’t like him and that she looked at him like a bother, hence the weird hansel and gretel incest story. i doubt they’d be on a date talking like this if he’d just asked

the dinner scene in OBSESSION makes me sad for a few reasons but one is because they act so genuine as a couple with each other at first, Bear saying he’d be a food critic and Nikki joking about how he puts ketchup on his steak like this coulda been real if he just asked her out
