Really valuable meeting today with the leadership of @NorfolkCC and @SNorfolkCouncil as part of my ongoing set of initial meetings - lots more to follow!
I'm looking forward to meeting the leadership of @suffolkcc next week and to working cross-county and cross-party on the big issues affecting people in #WaveneyValley.

Lack of NHS dentists is a huge issue in my constituency and across the country.
I look forward to working with the BDA in pressing the government to set out a clear timetable and plan for restoring NHS dentistry

Wonderful to be shown around The Pear Tree Centre in #Halesworth today by staff and trustees including Dr Dinah Morley, Chair of Board of Trustees, and Seva Newrick, Centre Manager. I was really moved hearing about the charity's incredible work providing support, information, advice and counselling for those diagnosed with life-changing illnesses and their families.

I had an insightful meeting with Gina, Matt and Bar at @WaveneyFoodbank in #Diss. The volunteers there do an amazing job providing emergency food parcels and hot meals for those who need them in our community. We also discussed the great work of @TrussellTrust highlighting the real government action needed for a future where people are not reliant on food banks.

Today we have made history.
I am profoundly humbled by the faith placed in me by the people of Waveney Valley and their embrace of our message of hope and positivity.
I promise each and every one of them, whether they voted for me or not, that I will do my utmost to make sure their voices are heard by those who have neglected them, and rural East Anglia, for so long.
