Another excellent follow up talk by Dr. @MatthewWeber92 on the association between CSU-ALS status on failure-to-rescue after cardiac arrest in a regional collaborative. A doubly robust analysis suggesting CSU-ALS centers had improvement in FTR after cardiac arrest! @nickteman

Research resident Dr. @SkylarCRodgers with an outstanding talk on holiday/weekend surgery and its effect on failure-to-rescue! Potentially more complications but hospitals appear able to address and rescue patients at a similar rate. @nickteman @MatthewWeber92 @AlexWizMD

An incredible presentation and analysis by Dr. El Moheb on the impact of socioeconomic distress on readmission after cardiac surgery! Socioeconomic distress did not predict readmission but distressed patients more likely to be readmitted later suggesting lack or resources.

Standing room only for a great talk by @AnthonyNormanMD on CABG timing after NSTEMI. Early (but not too early!) may result in improved outcomes. However, RCT needed to fully answer this question @nickteman @OPreventzaMD @MatthewWeber92

Stellar talk from our stellar resident @AdiNarahari on advanced fellowships following training. Higher number of I-6 trainees pursuing congenital fellowship. When excluding these, no difference in rate of other advanced fellowships whether I-6 or traditional/4-3 trained.
