your death will come on an ordinary day, in the middle of unfinished plans, and the world will continue without you. so live a little

Two Sundays ago in my church, two families came forward for child dedication. The first family looked wealthy; everything from their outfits to the gifts spoke of it. As they stepped out, many people stood up and danced with them to the front. Then the second family was called. No glamour. No attention. The wife wore a simple ankara, and the husband quietly held an envelope to present. Before they even reached the front, only three people were behind them. No crowd. No excitement. I tapped my friend and said, “Let’s go.” We stood up and joined them, dancing them to the front. After the service, the husband came to find us. You could feel how deeply he appreciated that small gesture. And it left me thinking… There’s hardly space anywhere for a poor man. No money. No social love. Sometimes, not even family love. Just… silence.

You’re not going to get exceptionally better at preaching by listening to other pastors or even having people review your sermons. It’s by…

Learning anything takes training. You’re taught, corrected, and shaped until it becomes second nature. That’s what God’s Word is meant to do in your life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 shows us that God’s Word isn’t just helpful, it’s essential. It teaches us what is true, confronts what is off, corrects our direction, and trains us to live in a way that honors and glorifies the Lord. What you believe doesn’t stay in your head; it shows up in your life.

The Blue Whale produces milk so rich and thick it has the consistency of soft butter or flowing cream. It’s 50% fat—nearly 15 times more concentrated than human milk. Why? Because in the vastness of the ocean, a liquid would dissolve into the salt water before it ever reached the calf. Instead, this "liquid gold" stays intact, allowing the baby to gain 200 pounds every single day. "He who fashioned the depths of the sea left nothing to chance." From the gargantuan heart the size of a car to the microscopic precision of a mother’s milk, we are witnessing a masterpiece of engineering. This isn't just "survival"—it is divine intentionality. Every ripple in the ocean and every breath in your lungs is a quiet, powerful reminder: Every detail was crafted. Every need was anticipated. Nature isn't just magical; it’s a witness. God is Amazing. 💙 #Creator #BlueWhale #NatureIsArt #GodsDesign #DeepOcean #WondersOfWorld

Communion served in a church in Lagos… I am not sure these ones are doing it in remembrance of Him o 😂

My generation of parents, I want to beg you to please give your kids a Liberal Arts education. Expose your kids to the Great Ideas, the Great Conversations, the Great Books right from when they’re little. (You can look up all that stuff). (1/3)
