Even last year after Lando won Sao Paulo and topped that weekend in dominant fashion, he was asked in the press conference after the race if he needed to change his mentality. They both have it bad from the media, let's not downplay it like it's only happened to one of them.

I'm saying this as a person who has been a fan of Lando and George since F2... the idea that George is the only driver who gets treated poorly by the media, after the absolute assault on Lando's "mentality" and constant misquoting of him, drives me insane.

@gruspinto British bias doesn't exist. Carlos said it last year, the British press is very hard on them. They are largely horrible to Lando (and Lewis), save for a few exceptions. Last year British media were treating Oscar and Max better than the British drivers.

i hate the way f1 fans and the media try to portray a false image of george, twisting his words and creating fake narratives around him just to push their agenda against him.. i think the "british bias" card everyone loves to play applies to everyone except george.

Lando won the WDC with a car that was the fastest at SOME tracks, not all. And had ONE track where he finished 20s+ clear. While the other driver in the same car took 50 laps to overtake the fourth fastest car on that track. Also won it with his team/teammate costing him 40+ pts.
