Thats the truth. So I dont see why Messi having more overall assists automatically means he is better. The objective after all is to score goals. If Ronaldo takes a shot and misses he might be crticized, but if Messi passes the ball and the teammate misses a chance, I see no difference objectively.

Golden boots is pretending like there is one competition. No UCL International etc. Ronaldo has more goals overall you will probably say its due to more games Well messi has more golden boots because in Spain he was playing more games per season. Ratio-wise Cr7 has a better minutes per goal in 5/9 la liga seasons so that's that about Golden boots. The playmaker award has no objective criteria.
