A few thoughts worth sitting with: 1️⃣ Time is our most precious commodity. Not money. Not talent. Not opportunities. Once it’s spent, it’s gone. So the real question isn’t “Am I busy?” but “Am I investing my time in what actually matters most?” 2️⃣ Rest isn’t a reward—it’s a requirement. We were never designed for nonstop output. In fact, the day after Adam and Eve were created, God commanded rest— not to recover from the work, but to prepare for the work ahead. Rest is how we get ready. All work and no rest doesn’t make us heroes… it makes us hollow. Rest refuels clarity, restores joy, and recalibrates purpose. Busyness isn’t always a badge of honor. Sometimes it’s a quiet thief—stealing our presence, our peace, and our priorities. Maybe the goal isn’t to do more… Maybe it’s to do what matters most, with margin to breathe, laugh, and be fully present. Never stop getting better—by getting intentional with your time.

I’m so happy for North Shelby. A school that lost 63 straight football games from 2009-2015 before transitioning to 8-man in 2016. Since then, the Raiders are 68-35 with 7 straight winning seasons under coaches Bass & Stuckey. 2 district titles and now a state title appearance.
