We are excited to welcome new leadership to our Board of Directors! Klaudia Holkup (Klaudia & Co, Altru Foundation) will serve as Board Chair, and Scott Berge (PS Industries) will serve as Co-Chair. Both bring a strong community commitment and professional experience.

There's nothing we love more than a small town with big heart! 💗 Drayton showed theirs with this wonderful donation drive, organized by Drayton Public School. Students, parents, and staff collected a big pile of food AND a big pile of hygiene items for our clients. 🥰

Our team enjoyed some great coffee during our morning meeting at The Ember Coffeehouse! ☕ This month, all Ember tips will support people experiencing hunger and homelessness through the Mission. It's a great chance to get your coffee and make a difference at the same time! ☺️

Look at this hygiene drive Bloom Beauty Bar ran for women experiencing homelessness! Staff and customers donated 600+ items to help women at the Mission feel clean, beautiful, and safe. Thank you to Marissa, Kendal, the Bloom team, and Bloom customers. Your heart inspires us! ❤️

We are very pleased to announce that our Interim Director, Elaina Wickman, has been hired as the new Executive Director of Northlands Rescue Mission! Elaina has worked directly with people experiencing homelessness at the Mission for 13 years. We'll have lots more to share soon!

The people at the Mission now have brand new lockers and totes to store their possessions! These were generously provided through a grant from the Citizen's Assistance Program (CAP). Thank you for making sure people have a safe place to store their most important items!🥳

Yesterday, Kelvin got his apartment keys. He reached this point because he had shelter, food to fill his belly, and help applying for housing. This would have been a real challenge for Kelvin if he was all alone. But he wasn't alone. He had support from people like you! 🏠🗝️

The food pantry is open from noon to 6 pm today! Come to door #2 and ring the bell to get your food box. Generous donors provide this food (about 50 lbs of meat, produce, and dry goods) to help you and your family make it through the month. 💟🙏
