Honored to take the role again as Deputy Prime Minister of Bulgaria to finalize Bulgaria's Recovery & Resilience Plan. The Recovery Plan is a long-term effort to put Bulgaria on a stronger economic footing and make it better prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
I sincerely thank the caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Maria Nedina for the great work and decisive steps in recent months.
After years of delays caused by political turbulence and lack of will the task is now clear - to complete what was started in 2021, secure the final payments by adopting the remaining reforms on rule-of-law and implement all investments in an optimal way.

Almost no Middle Eastern country, including Israel, allows HRW researchers to enter their countries to document abuses. Such a healthy sign.
