Opportunities like these are rare, and there is a tremendous amount to learn from their vision, ambition, and long-term thinking. One thought I will carry back with me, however, is a sense of discomfort. Compared to what I see here, many Indian billionaires seem to be investing far less in building deep technology, R&D capabilities, and world-class innovation ecosystems. China’s rise has not been driven by procurement, trading, or short-term profits alone. It has been built on sustained investment in research, engineering, manufacturing excellence, and technological self-reliance. If India wants to emerge as a true technological powerhouse, we must move beyond a mindset centered solely on procurement, price, and profit. We need a culture that values invention as much as execution, research as much as revenue, and long-term nation-building as much as quarterly returns.

i realized something recently bernie sanders and AOC have damaged the fabric of america immensely but we rarely talk about it bernie/AOC have vilified successful businessmen & women. calling CEOs like elon musk, bezos, zuck evil. yes these people have shortcomings - but they are also truly self made, come from normal/humble backgrounds. with hard work they created trillions in economic value. isn’t that a fundamental part of what america is about? the land of opportunity? in the 2000s when i was in elementary school, bill gates and steve jobs were viewed as role models. our teachers taught us about how much they achieved + given to society. these CEOs were actually respected and i believe this culture brought up a generation of ambitious hard working americans now, kids are being taught that working hard and becoming a billionaire is evil. we’re essentially telling them to have victim mindset and stay poor i know bernie/AOC & crew are never going to take responsibility. i can’t even tell if they realize what they’re doing

I'm in a weird phase of life rn Nothing excites me anymore - personal life, relationship, work, ps5, cricket, movies/shows, ai, portfolio, books, fancy gadgets, sleep, dreams, birthdays etc - nothing I don't think this is some kinda crisis tho (given I'm approaching mid 30s) I do find joy in playing with my 18mo toddler for a while, or watching random videos that are unrelated to things I've so far studied, like how a baby is formed in the womb, that first heartbeat and that we're buttfirst mammals lol I've taken two weeks off from work to wind down thinking this is a burnout, but now I'm starting to feel this is beyond burnout, although I don't know how to describe it succintly So now I'm traveling a bit, maybe that'll help. Flying to BLR next week, maybe meeting some old friends there will help - lets see
