PLS, DO NOT IGNORE!🌻🆘 THERE IS NO PLAN B, NOWHERE TO TURN TO RIGHT NOW. THIS FUNDRAISER IS THE ONLY THING KEEPING MOM OUT OF THE HOSPITAL. My mom is fighting heart failure, which causes fluid buildup in her lungs. She’s already fought off three bouts of pneumonia and multiple hospitalisations. She is terrified of hospitals now. Last time, she told me if she ever went back, she’d never come home. It felt so real when she said it, like she knew something I didn't. It haunts me that if she ends up back in that building, I could lose her. It’s been 11 months since then. I’ve kept her safe, but only coz I never let her symptoms get worse before getting help, but all my safety nets are gone. Now, when symptoms show up, I keep hoping they go away on their own, but 'hoping' is how she ended up in the hospital with pneumonia last time. The safety net was my armour. I’m in a constant state of fear that after giving everything for over a year, it might not matter. The armour let me breathe, it kept my OCD to a soft 4 instead of a screaming 10. Now, I’m waking up at least 9 times a night just to check her breathing coz my anxiety is thru the roof. I am terrified that something will go wrong and I won’t be able to protect her.
