Massive congratulations to our Feile A Footballers after they qualified for tomorrow morning's final against Naas in Manguard Park, Hawkfield at 10.45am. The lads defeated Monasterevan, Carbury and Sarsfieds earlier this afternoon 🙌

Wednesday's horse racing thread 🧵 Huntingdon 2.45 Datsalrightcharlie 11/8 NEXT BEST Hereford 4.30 Fight My Fire 14/1 each way Kempton 4.55 Archer's Grace 7/4 Hereford 5.00 Cornish Comedy 11/4 Kempton 6.00 Kilkenny Warrior 6/1 each way Kempton 6.30 Sarab Star 1/1 NAP It is still early days for DATSALRIGHTCHARLIE and he could still have a bright future especially now switched over fences for the first time. This ground is ideal and up to nearly 3 miles he clearly has plenty going for him in what looks a winnable race. I've come to the conclusion that it's worth taking a chance on FIGHT MY FIRE here. This horse sprung a 100/1 surprise winning at Fontwell last year and while he has lost his way somewhat he has been freshened up and given a bit more help by the handicapper should bounce back at some point. The market principals have a bit to prove so he should get competitive. I thought that was an encouraging start from ARCHER'S GRACE at this track on debut. She was keen enough but ran on well and just bumped into one on the day. She will be sharper now and back to 6f could be ready to make the breakthrough. Moonshine is odds-on but has already proved a little frustrating. The best is yet to come with CORNISH COMEDY so if he jumps better here (certainly needs to) he could be a big player. He ran well finishing second to Kingcormac at this track on penultimate start and unexposed over this trip should go close. I'm pleasantly surprised to see KILKENNY WARRIOR as big as 6/1 for this. The yard won this race last year and she arrives on a hat-trick. She lacks a run but was progressive when last seen and with further improvement to come should have a great chance in this and the price looks right. Great chance for the progressive SARAB STAR to make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. He bumped into Chancellor over C&D on penultimate start and then beat Serengeti at Wolverhampton. Freshened up his form is stacking up and I'll be surprised if he still doesn't have a bit in hand off this mark. He has a lot of class and should be taking care of these.

The 2026 Kildare U20 Hurling squad announced by Kildare GAA last night. A strong squad ahead of their championship opener against Kerry next weekend. A great spread of clubs and a few senior county players included.

Adrian Kinsella and his management have named the 2026 Kildare U20 Hurling Panel. The Kildare U20 Hurling Team will play Kerry in Round 1 of the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship 4pm on Sunday 22nd March in Manguard Park, Hawkfield.

Congrats to Oisin Coll, Joseph Finn, Eoghan Little, Adam Noonan, Callum Durnin and Neil Vizzard who all made their Senior Hurling debuts today.

Hard luck to Kildare who were leading with about ten mins to go but ultimately The Cats were that bit too strong. Kilkenny finished the game with 9 players on the field who played in the All Ireland semi final last year. Hugely encouraging performance from Kildare.
