Tonights glow at Northampton Balloon Festival we had the BBC Globe and the FT Newspaper, conditions were quite breezy so the FT Newspaper had to be pulled down, but the Globe stayed up throughout the glow, thanks to Brad and Charlie for glowing the shapes for us. 🎈

@JustTweetGeorge @mjballooning The entry forms have been sent out to pilots. We will not know what is planning to attend until later in the year. There are very few commercially operated special shapes flying these days, but who knows 🤞🏻😉

**SUNDAY EVENING WEATHER UPDATE** - Sadly, the winds have beaten us this evening and there will be no flying. Despite the challenging conditions, we managed to get balloons flying from the event on Friday morning, Saturday evening and Sunday morning, along with a glow last night.

Our @RicohUK special shape cube is at the #Northampton #hotairballoon festival all weekend! We had an amazing night glow last night in the main arena and a flight this morning in the early hours! @BBCNorthampton @NorthamptonUK #festival

More balloons are taking off now

The first balloon has taken off 😊

**SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE** - We are optimistic that the conditions will be suitable to fly in the morning. But a final call will be made at 6am.

**SATURDAY EVENING UPDATE** - It is still very windy this evening, so there won't be a mass balloon launch. We do however have a couple of the more experienced pilots who may fly later in the evening if the wind drops more.

It is still very windy, but in the arena at the moment we have inflated one of the balloons. We also have a number of Pilots around the arena who are happy to answer questions on ballooning and let you have a closer look at the basket

**Day 2** - A full programme of events can be found on our website. There will be balloonists in the field from 2pm onwards to speak with and we will try and get some balloons inflated if the weather conditions allow. thenorthamptonballoonfestival.co.uk/programme/
