I have generally been from the school of thought that believes Africans spend too much time calling out external enemies instead of internal kleptomaniacs and saboteurs. Not anymore. The past few weeks have convinced me that we don't talk about our history and weaponise our grievances *enough*. The Country That Shall Never Be Criticised has showed us that by weaponising a 6-year grievance that cost 6 million lives, all international law can be made optional. We have a 400-year grievance that cost anything from 20 million to 100 million lives. We're not weaponising this thing at all in comparison! Inside every crisis lies an opportunity.
