@ellorakamineni I decline to join departmental WhatsApp groups, and leave them when added but do share my number with HR and colleagues when on shift. Just don’t think I need to hear about a cannula on Ward 7D when I’m not on shift! Can highly recommend not succumbing to the WhatsApp group.

not to bash my fy1 job before i even start but they’ve already asked me for my *personal* phone number and *personal* email and i’ve been told that i *will* be contacted via these routes and idk what other trusts are like but oh boundaries just don’t exist in the nhs, i fear

@KateBurkeNHS @ShaunLintern I LOVE healthier together (what0-18.nhs.uk), every family I see goes home with one of their leaflets from A&E. Sad thing is that they are making many local versions of the site... it's beginning to lose the consistency/simplicity we need. Bronchiolitis is bronchiolitis!

@alisonleary1 @ShaunLintern Structured data is critical! So much poor practice with structured data being destructed when exported as PDFs 😭, just increases the workload on receiving end. We put a lot of effort into creating automated tools to restructure that data across HR/Finance/PALS/etc at @Prexia_io

@ShaunLintern We've actually built this at @Pyrexia_io! We got frustrated as #NHS workers having to redo it all every time, then we found the same techniques could be applied to sooo many back office workflows (complaints/finance/governance/etc). pyrexia.io

#JuniorDoctors I am fascinated/perplexed by UKFPO @UKFPO from my recent dealings with them. Have a disabled med. student who struggled with online application system & missed deadline by 120 seconds (that's not a typo). UKFPO refusing to budge or make any allowance. Say he can just wait *for a year* & apply again. Student now very likely to go abroad upon graduation. How is this a reasonable way to treat people or an appropriate use of public resources? Genuinely perplexed.

If someone tells you NHS should be a social insurance model ask how, exactly, that will provide new hospitals, new CT & MRIs, cut drug prices, & deliver thousands of drs & nurses. It will cost £££ (+ cost of change). Insurers won't do it out of the goodness of their heart #NHS75

This is such a bad idea and not the first time Saj has pontificated badly on NHS. A Royal Commission is a vehicle to delay reform, delay funding and an opportunity for people with bad ideas to pontificate more. The problems faced by the NHS are over diagnosed and under treated.

This 15 year workforce plan is not fully funded. The £2.4bn for new training doesn't cover the increased salaries - there is a huge revenue bill the NHS will need funding as these roles come through. The plan is more aspiration than a plan of how it will be done #NHSWorkforcePlan
