@komofela83 Hatred has deeply rooted in the mind of some people. Leadership is not by mouth is by doings. To me, this is the position shared my some, they just wish you failed even though you are doing the right thing.

@olarinde02 What exactly do we need as a people? When all this was not in place we keep batching the govt. Now that Govt institution are raising to the occasion we are quick to condemn. What is the colour of our problem?

Amid the flood of felicitations following my convocation as Overall Best Graduating Student of LAUTECH, I find it necessary to address the stir around my NELFUND appreciation post. I accept the praise, life changing offers and the backlash, in good faith. Still, it is only fair to set the record straight. I hail from a village in Osun State, raised in a modest family of five. I attended public primary and secondary schools, not by choice, but because even the most inexpensive private schools were beyond our means. Even then, survival itself; food and clothing was a daily struggle. I walked miles to school each morning, while my parents laboured as jacks-of-all-trades to make ends meet. For nine defining years before I entered university, we lived within sight of basic amenities yet beyond our reach, no electricity, no television; just lanterns and candles. Against these odds, I earned a scholarship and now this distinction. In my third year, a coursemate’s father, someone I had once tutored academically, gifted me my first smartphone which I am still using till now. On several occasions, lecturers, moved by quiet compassion, provided me with clothing. There are many other instances, too numerous to recount. So, I say this plainly, not all of us are born with a silver spoon. Some of us climbed the ladder by holding on to every rung of legitimate support we could find. As an engineering student aspiring to make academic history, should I resort myself to blaming my family’s financial situation for my inability to afford fees and essentials like a reliable smartphone or laptop needed for skills and certifications? For me personally, NELFUND was not incidental; it was instrumental and to acknowledge what helped one’s journey is neither propaganda nor misplaced allegiance. It is simply an act of appreciation. Thank you @NELFUND and everyone that contributed to this success! Greatness awaits all of Us.

“One time one of my pastors was carried by k!dn4pp3r$, and I said give them the phone. I commanded them to release him within 24 hours. The place was vibrating on the spot. If anybody picks you, give them my number.” — Pastor David Oyedepo says.

@Demurleigh @olarinde02 @ennyola0015 She said not true and he still came with I am very right. The embarrassment a simple google search would have save him of. And I think GF comes before H2H. Mancity scored more goals than Arsenal, we only defended more.

Genuine question: why is Arsenal second even though they have the same points and goal difference as Manchester City ?

@ennyola0015 The rule is after checking ties with points, goal difference. The next is head to head before using away goals. So i am very right. Man City beat Arsenal Home and away. Man City will top them.

Dangote has started producing crude oil from its own fields in the Niger Delta. About 4,500 barrels a day right now from the Kalaekule field under OML 72 and they’re targeting 15,000 barrels soon. Think about what this means. The man built Africa’s largest refinery but was buying crude from other people to run it. Now he’s producing his own crude to feed his own refinery. Dangote holds 85% of the upstream business. NNPC holds 15%. These fields peaked in the 90s and declined before Dangote acquired them in 2015. Own the oil. Refine the oil. Sell the product. That’s the play.

Thanks to the APC government, and Buhari in particular, for delivering the Petroleum Industry Act. Eni is set to commit a staggering $10.3 billion to a deepwater project. Nigeria hasn’t sanctioned many large offshore projects recently 🤷this one breaks that drought. Thanks to President Tinubu for speedy approval

I have just spent four days in Akwa Ibom State and I am still processing what I saw. The people are extraordinary. The climate is perfect. The pace of development is unlike anything I have witnessed in Nigeria in recent memory. An international airport. A state owned airline. A deep sea port. World class hospitality. And a warmth that makes you want to stay. The strange thing is that most of the world has no idea this place exists in the way that it does. That is about to change. Governor Pastor Umo Eno is building something real. And I was given four days to see all of it up close. Stay with me this week. I have a lot to share.

Bandit kingpin Kachallah Auwalu killed in deadly clash with Dogo Gide’s faction in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna By: Zagazola Makama A bandit kingpin identified as Kachallah Auwalu has been killed during a violent clash between rival armed groups in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna state security sources has confirmed. Sources told Zagazola Makama that the clash occurred on April 18 at about 1635 hrs in the Maganda general area, a known forest corridor linked to repeated armed group activities in the region. Kachallah Auwalu was reportedly a prominent figure within one of the armed factions operating under a rival network, with alleged influence over activities in Maganda, Kuyello, and Dogon Dawa axis. Security sources said the clash was part of an internal confrontation between competing armed groups, which has continued to escalate within forested settlements in the area. Further reports from the field suggested that the fighting remained ongoing at the time of filing the report, with unconfirmed indications that additional casualties may have been recorded among the armed elements involved. It was also gathered that another armed faction, allegedly led by Dogo Gide, was mobilising towards the scene of the clash. The sources said that troops under Sector 1 of Operation Fansan Yamma have been placed on alert and tasked with monitoring the situation closely, with directives to take advantage of emerging opportunities to neutralise armed elements and prevent further escalation. The sources added said surveillance and intelligence-driven operations have been intensified across Birnin Gwari and adjoining communities as efforts continue to stabilise the area and deny criminal groups freedom of action.
