A divide between (many) cis people and (many) trans people that cis folks may not realize is that trans people often actively avoid learning, and genuinely do not want to know, each other's deadnames.

1.8 million LGBTQ+ youth consider suicide each year and 1 attempts suicide every 45 seconds. Trans youth are 2.5x more likely to attempt suicide. But having just one accepting adult reduces suicide for LGBTQ+ youth by 40%. Trans kids will die because of this toxic garbage from @TGC. It is evil and we must clearly designate it as such. It’s especially wicked to publish on the day before Thanksgiving when many trans youth will be with their families. This is anti-Christ.

Little known fact: Although much has been written about America's PAST treatment of Black veterans, few people are aware that tens of thousands of Black people who served in the US Armed Forces are technically and legally excluded from Veterans Day. A thread (and a story)
