My son had a complete meltdown just before bed tonight. It wasn’t really clear why, but it was clear he was exhausted. I had him say goodnight and got him cleaned up and ready for bed. As I was tucking him in, I asked if he wanted to talk about anything and he said yes.

@DearS_o_n Emotional regulation. The ability to pause, lower your tone and respond calmly when things get tense. It’s not flashy but it strengthens relationships and decision making in every part of life.

Good morning crew 🌅☕️🤝 Watching my son play soccer this morning is a reminder that the only way to discover what you enjoy is to try things. Not everything will be your thing. But every attempt helps you learn a little more about who you are and what brings you to life.

@TheSystemsDad If you don’t intentionally make the space for clarity, there’s a good chance you’ll arrive at complexity and confusion.

Most people think growth requires adding more: More goals More effort More pressure But some of the biggest improvements come from removing things: 🔹 reactions without reflection 🔹 unnecessary urgency 🔹 constant distraction Clarity often follows simplicity.

Just signed up for Meditation March with @ShukmanHenry and @drchatterjeeuk. A good reminder to spend a little more time sitting with stillness instead of running from it. Looking forward to the month ahead and appreciate you both putting this together 🤝

@drchatterjeeuk Modern life trains us to move away from discomfort as quickly as possible. But some of the most important insights come when we stay with it long enough to understand it. Stillness can feel awkward at first, but it often becomes the doorway to clarity.

What do you do when you feel uncomfortable? Scroll? Snack? Put your headphones in? Most of us have become incredibly skilled at avoiding inner discomfort. But what if that discomfort isn’t something to fix… but something to gently move towards? In this week’s new episode of Feel Better, Live More, Zen Master Henry Shukman (@ShukmanHenry) explains why meditation isn’t about becoming calmer or “better” - it’s about learning to sit with ourselves, even when it feels awkward, restless or emotionally uncomfortable. We talk about why modern life keeps our attention constantly outward and how just a few minutes of daily stillness can reconnect you with something deeper. If you’ve ever struggled to meditate, felt too restless to sit still, or found yourself constantly reaching for distraction - this episode is for you. It’s out now in episode 632 my 'Feel Better, Live More' podcast.

There’s a surprisingly compelling angle hiding in what you do every day. Most people overlook it because it feels ordinary. But inside the routine are patterns, lessons, and insights others haven’t noticed yet. Look closer.

It’s ok to feel lost. The moment will tell you it’s a problem, but time will tell you it was shaping you. Not every season is meant for clarity. Some are meant for growth.

Attended a retirement gathering today. It’s a quiet reminder how fast it all moves. One day you’re building…the next you’ve got one foot out the door. 🔹 Be present 🔹 Be true to yourself 🔹 Work hard 🔹 Keep growing Make the time count while it’s yours.

Control without competence is chaos. When responsibility outpaces preparation, frustration follows. Don’t rush the role. Build the skillset. Real leadership is developed long before it’s displayed.

We didn’t talk about writing goals today. We talked about building leaders. Same targets - different mindset One drives compliance - the other drives ownership

Most teams write goals. Strong teams build leaders. When you frame growth as leadership development instead of box-checking, ownership changes. People don’t execute goals, they embody responsibility. And language shapes that behavior.

The world offers endless opinions and constant reaction. What’s harder to find is calm perspective and thoughtful reflection. That gap keeps showing up.
