Algorithm is a mess

One time around 2017, a few years after I finished secondary school, I went to the bank to deposit money for our shop. I was filling my deposit slip when this man came close to me and started asking questions. Asking where I work, what I’m writing just acting very nice. It felt weird because I’ve never experienced that kind of thing before, but I just kept quiet. Later, I went to sit down while waiting in line, and this same man came and sat beside me again. He continued asking about our business, where our shop is I didn’t give him anything clear. I was just answering him vaguely. After everything, I left the bank, and he waved me bye-bye. I was already uncomfortable, but I still didn’t say anything. Then later that night, a number called me. I picked it was the same man. Asking me how I was, how work went. I asked him where he got my number from He said he copied it from my deposit slip while I was filling it. I just said “okay, I’ll call you back.” I blocked him immediately.
