K hate this game but.. poss exposure on Sun (few guests but used +life to test), v mild scratchy throat this week.. +life neg on Thurs (thought must be reflux). V flared today.. so did RAT.. came back faint line👇.. but +life.. NEG. Possible reflux/PH causing faint + on RAT?

I’ll never take an at-home OraQuick HIV test again. I took multiple tests that yielded a faint, partial T Line, indicating a possible positive, according to test instructions. Finally dropped my balls last week & went in for proper blood panels at a trusted lab. All negative.

@MrsRobotBirdie Intelliswab tends to give you messed up results when you swab the mouth as well! It gives you false positives numerous people have complained and testified so

@azy_poppy I think the last time I gave the intelliswab a try I got an invalid test result and only did nasal with it. Ha. :(

@whoraxxx Just a history of these tests not being the best at detecting an infection ; lots lots lots of false negatives AND false positives ( especially intelliswab ) on top of this not too long ago a study was going around twitter about how flurorecare sucked at detecting true positives

@LovelyD10846768 Why do ya’ll keep asking me this? I know how to read instructions I have a masters in literacy. I’ve taken multiple of these tests for some reason this test was faulty, which happens. The nurse told me that they’ve stop doing oraquick because of how faulty they are

I saw some other ppl who had false positives on an intelliswab as well. how evil these are usually the only brand given for free at *libraries* now.. bc the actual public health dept doesn't give a fuck

I tested positive on an intelliswab (throat & nose swab) then negative on metrix, then positive AGAIN on intelliswab ... was able to get a pcr test that came back negative !! this has been so frustrating and confusing to navigate 😭😭

i dont understand why intelliswab rapids are Like That and they don’t even produce a more accurate result, just waste of plastic, giant box and annoying design

We are giving out rapid tests including Inteliswab ones. We’ve heard anecdotally that these tests are prone to false positives with an oral and nasal swab. If you use this brand, consider sticking to just nasal swabs—but keep swabbing your mouth with other brands!

update: i've tested negative on a PCR lucira covid test after testing positive on a rapid inteliswab last night. doesn't a positive on rapids mean positive still, though? any advice welcomed #covid

@EndemicPrepared Only QuickVue tested positive for me this round. Also tried Binax, FlowFlex, Intelliswab, and Rapid Response. Intelliswab was defective and gave half a positive line. Tests are not equal sensitivity.

@dr_katumwa I have never understood why these self test kits (oraquick) were brought for public use. Without any pre or post-test counseling.
