Ultimately, the IDF declared its goals. When Hamas signed a paper saying they will concede these goals, the war ended.

Not to 'destroy the Palestinians in whole or in part'. Like I said, there are plenty of more good arguments that can be made to support this

Only in Gaza you can be "starved", "genocided", with no electricity, and find the time to be a med student, wear fresh clothes and do your makeup.
